At Quinta do Gato, vineyard work follows the principles of regenerative viticulture , placing soil health and ecosystem balance at the heart of all decisions. Standards and practices are followed that respect soil life and the natural biodiversity of the vineyard.

Vegetation management is carried out mechanically and in a controlled manner, using brush cutters. Pruning debris is shredded and returned to the soil between the vine rows , contributing to the natural regeneration of the land and the strengthening of the vines.

These practices promote biodiversity and create a living, balanced ecosystem where soil, vines, fauna, and flora evolve in harmony.
